Hi! My name is Jen, I’m a functional medicine doctor and I am here to tell you that your body can HEAL.. In fact not only can your body heal but your whole LIFE can HEAL. I’ve healed eight different chronic and autoimmune conditions that had me bedridden sick with little hope for my future in my twenties. I created this podcast to give you the inspiration and the tools to heal your body, your mind, your heart, your spirit and your LIFE. This podcast is for patients, practitioners, and people who want to listen from the place where Spirit and science meet. This podcast is a place for humans with human questions to go deeper on their spiritual journey and reconnect with their soul. As we heal our body we have a body that moves well, thinks well, loves well and THAT is a body we want to be in for this life. A body that is feeling well is a body that is living in alignment, a body that lives in alignment is a body that can carry out our soul’s work here on this Earth.

Truth be told, we all feel judgements, pressures, and expectations around alcohol. Whether we drink pop bottles on the weekend or sip mocktails from our patio- everyone feels some sort of stigma around alcohol.
Is one drink going to hurt me? Can I just have a few sips so I can fit in? What if I give up alcohol, will I leave behind my happiness and FUN?!
Is alcohol a drug, what’s really in it and what does it do to my body?
These are the questions we answer for you on the show!

My experience(s) with plant medicine have been the most profound of my life. Particularly, the most beautiful experience I’ve had I share with you during this episode.

This week we’re talking about feminine energy autoimmune disorders-
Endometriosis, PCOS, & Lichen sclerosus ((or symptoms of)) have a key healing factor in common, one that even most functional medicine docs aren’t talking about.
I see women running from doctor to doctor, test to test, diet to diet, pill to pill, herb to herb…
Only to be missing the entire point at play.
So with these three feminine energy autoimmune conditions, how does disease enter the body?
By the time we have a symptoms the discord in our energetic field has trickled down into dysfunction in our physical body.
The truest words I could ever give you are this–
Your symptoms are purely your soul trying to get your attention.
If you have endometriosis, PCOS, LS, then yes there is as chronic infection, a toxic load, a nutrient deficiency, definitely a hormonal imbalance, and of course stored trauma in the body..
But how did the toxicity enter into the body in the female reproductive system in the first place?
>>A weakening of this energy center had to have happened first<<<
An occlusion of feminine energy flow..

To be honest this was a really vulnerable episode for me to share..
As I started healing my autoimmune diseases something began to happen.
Some may call it spooky, but I now call it sacred, something sacred happened to me as I began to heal EIGHT autoimmune diseases from my body.
The frequency required for disease to leave my body I had to create, opened me up to a brand new world..
I started experiencing the supernatural..angels, Jesus, soul’s of past loved ones, knowings I couldn’t explain..
And at first I had no idea why or what I was supposed to do with it.
Here is what I know now to be true–
